Application Process
There are 2 kinds of membership in the order, full and auxiliary. Full membership grants you the privilege to rise to the rank of Knight/Dame and to vote and take part in the projects of the order.
Below are the steps for full membership:
Step 1 Download the application form and fill it up. Attach all supporting documents. If you are a title holder of a noble title, please attach proof of nobility. Below are the required supporting documents:
- National ID/Passport scans
- Proof of nobility (if you hold a title of nobility)
Step 2 Send to your respective Grand Commander (each one is assigned for a specific geographical area) your application through mail or post. Check the "Grand Commanderies" page under the "Branches" tab. If your country of residence has a Grand Priory, you must send it there.
Step 3 Email an electronic copy to the Office of the Grandmaster.
Step 4 Wait for confirmation. You will be updated about the status of your application.
All those who have been accepted for full membership will receive the rank of Squire or Lady-in-Waiting. Within 6 months as Squire or Lady in Waiting, you must be active within the order. Although you cannot hold administrative positions you will be assisting officers within the order.
After the 6-month probationary period, you may petition be promoted to the rank of Knight or Dame. The decision to promote you will rely on your activeness within the order during your probationary period.
Petitions for promotion will be given to your respective Grand Commander or your direct superior who presented you in the Supeme Council.
