Seasons greeting from the Grand Master-in-Chief of the OPD, I would like to thank Prince Roberto Carrillo, former Grand Master, for his friendship 'trust and confidence in my abilities to move our order forward, I am forever in His Highnesses debt for this opportunity.

As the Grand Master-in-Chief it is my duty not only to govern the order but to see that we gain the respect and recognition we have, over the years, strived for under Prince Roberto, for this reason I have decided to create a Council of Noble Patrons under the Grand Master-in-Chief, this council will be separate from Prince Macaks council and will aid me in gaining contacts with the heads of royal and noble houses for the purpose of achieving recognition for the OPD, they shall also advise on proper protocol concerning negotiations with these houses, the Chair and Vice Chair as well as other members of this council will be announced in the new year with a formal declaration.

As you may have noticed, there are some changes concerning positions within the Senate, Comities, Grand Commentaries, Grand Priories, Priories, Legations etc. these will be addressed immediately in the new year, there are openings in these offices that will need to be filled and you may put your name forward for a position with our Grand Chancellor Chev. Robert E.Beck at your earliest convenience, we will hold elections for these positions where there are more than one who apply and where only one has applied, if we feel they are capable they will be granted the position immediately.

In the new year there will be a meeting of the Senate to discus there role in the governance of the OPD after which a confirmation of the procedures will be granted and confirmed.

I thank you all for you patience and support in this time of change and offer you my sincere apologies for the delay in making this announcement. I believe that 2010 will see a great leap forward for the OPD and I am proud to be working with such a dedicated group of Knights and Dames. Thank you all.
