Priory of Virginia in the Grand Priory of the USA
Charitable Projects (CY 2009-10): Refurbishment for Homes of the Elderly
Our charitable projects will consist of painting and minor repairs to the exterior of the homes of local elderly people on fixed incomes. The priory will select and work on one home per quarter. Priory members will equally bear the expense of paint, brushes and other required supplies. Labor will be provided solely by priory members.

Humanitarian Projects
Starvation Combat - Get involved in a project that teaches the needy and poor communities how to use better the ingredients and make their family have nutritional meals at low cost, reducing hunger, diseases, suffering and even mortality.
Health Care - Taking profit from a good Medical and Pharmaceutical network, we will visit poor communities, orphanages and houses for elders, and provide them with medical care, free medicine and a better life.
Social and Moral Education - Develop a series of seminars to show to the young and teenagers the values of chivalry, the honor, the respect and the service to the common good. Being careful to do not do this as an academic history class, but showing a modern concept of society that is more fair and just for all.
Grand Priory of Japan
Orphanage Sponsorship - The Grand Priory is sponsoring an orphanage in Japan. This orphanage came to the attention of the Grand Priory when they observed a lack of warm clothing during winter.
Wilderness Ministry Donations - The Grand Priory sponsors a wilderness ministry by one of our Dames, Dame Roberta McCaslin.

Legation to Bangladesh
Humanitarian Projects
Members of the Legation to Bangladesh will be providing free education to street children in Bangladesh. Most of the members of the legation are university students or professors and would perosnally participate in the project. The order believes in the high potential of education to prevent poverty.
Past Projects
Grand Priory of Brazil
The Grand Priory of Brazil sponsored a culinary contest. The Order of Prince Daniel of Kholm Prize was given to the contestant which could create the cheapest yet most nutritious dish. The contest aims to benefit the slums of Brazil through the creation of nutritious yet affordable dishes.
Blood Donation - In a joint program with the Brazilian Foundation of Blood, the Grand Priory will develop instruments, campaigns and incentive to the blood donation. Plans are being made where in two of the Official Celebration Days of the Order, we will ask the members to donate and to have their families to do the same.
Grand Priory of Japan
Orphanage Christmas Gift-Giving - The Grand Priory held a fundraiser and gave gifts during christmas time in an orphanage in Japan. The project was very successful as every child was able to receive a gif for christmas. The Grand Priory has continued to sponsor the orphanage until its dissolution.
Grand Priory to Australia
The Grand Priory has sponsored the education of an orphaned girl in Bali, Indonesia
Legation to Finland
Donations were made to the British Red Cross, the Barnabas Fund, Camfed and World Vision.
